Where to Stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos

We love spending the New Years with friends and family…but it feels SOOO good to briefly escape the snow and head out on a beach holiday.

We just got back from a memorable stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages & Spa. We enjoyed every moment of our trip…from the delicious food to the fun activities and gorgeous sights. There is SO much to share, so I’m dividing the info up over three posts. This post will detail where to stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos, my second post will cover our favourite meals and restaurants at the resort, and the third will feature our favourite activities.

Let’s start with a tour of Beaches Turks and Caicos – it’s so huge that it can be hard to figure out where to stay. There are four villages in the resort – and each has its own unique personality – but the amazing thing about Beaches is that: no matter which village you book your stay at, you’re free to visit the pools and restaurants in all the other villages!

1) Key West

The Vibe: Inspired by Key West in Florida, this section features apartment-style accommodation, with kitchens, washers and dryers. The vibe is luxurious and more private. The pools are smaller and quieter – you often end up having the whole pool to yourself!
My Favourite Thing: The grounds are so manicured and pretty – and we loved all the rocking chairs set up in the communal areas.

2) Italian Village

The Vibe: Most of our family friends opt to stay here when they visit. It’s in the middle of all the action and has a lot of restaurants and shops.
My Favourite Thing: Loved the opulent European architecture with all the marble columns and pretty fountains.

3) French Village

The Vibe: Picture-perfect colorful buildings, pretty statues, our favourite pool and super-close to the Pirate Island Waterpark.
My Favourite Thing: The proximity to Cafe de Paris – unlimited cappuccinos, hot chocolates and pastries – need I say more?

4) Caribbean Village

The Vibe: You’ll often find the most affordable deals for bookings in this village. The rooms can feel a bit older – but everything is still very luxurious and beautiful. Our favourite stretch of the beach is close to the Caribbean Village – so we would often hang out near here.
My Favourite Thing: The boardwalk along the beach – all the weddings take place here, and there are so many pretty spots for family photos.

Speaking of photos – it was AMAZING to shoot outfit photos without freezing! I ordered this Chicwish Crochet White Dress before my trip – and I would highly recommend it. It packs nicely so you don’t have to worry about creasing, and it’s so elegant and chic. I would say this dress runs true to size – I ordered a medium to be on the safe side, but it’s a bit roomy, and a small would have been perfect. It comes with a collar that you can easily remove (like I did) if you prefer it without.

I hope you found this post useful! We stayed in the Key West Village – but it’s hard for us to pick a favourite village as there was something we loved about each location.

Have you stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos? Which village would you pick?
