Four Classic Outfit Formulas for Fall

When you’re stuck for ideas on what to wear, outfit formulas are a life-saver!  They’re classic combinations that help you make the most of your wardrobe. In today’s post, I’m sharing 4 easy Fall Outfit formulas.

MINI DRESS + TIGHTS + BOOTIES:

I love pairing Fall mini dresses with warm tights and booties – it’s feminine, chic and great for both daytime and evening events.

SWEATER + PLEATED MIDI SKIRT:

This is a trend that comes and goes – it can look effortlessly chic, but you have to get the silhouette just right. I would recommend picking a cropped sweater, or doing a half-tuck of your sweater into the waistline of your skirt, to define your waist and look more put-together.

BLOUSE + PLAID PANTS:

This combo is cute for work and for meetups with friends. When picking out a blouse to match your pants, you can go for white, or pick a colour that appears in the plaid pattern. I played up the purple-ish stripe in the pants with a deep pink blouse.

MOTO JACKET + PLAID SCARF + BOOTS:

This is an easy way to dress up t-shirt and jeans. A fitted moto jacket adds structure to the look, while the blanket scarf adds warmth and texture. You can pick out boots in a classic colourway but I liked playing up the scarf with these fun red boots!

I also wanted to share this name necklace that I’ve been loving this Fall. It’s the choker name necklace from onecklace and is the perfect layering piece. It’s really well made – I wore mine for a month straight (to bed, in the shower, etc) and it still looks shiny and new!  Use my code ZEBA15 for 15% off your order.
