How do you guys feel about classic Fall colours (i.e. mustard, rust, burgundy)? I’m usually drawn to lighter and brighter shades – but I’ve recently been inspired by berry tones, and have started including burgundy in my outfits.

Going berry is my favourite way of incorporating Fall shades – this outfit combines several different colours: pale pink, mauve and burgundy – but because they’re all berry tones, they still work together!
My mauve v-neck tunic sweater is from Dynamite – and it’s so soft and slouchy! I’ve paired it with some pretty accessories from Amazon (my trusty velvet bag, burgundy over-the-knee boots and a fun pink beret). There is something so chic about a matching sweater and scarf set…and when the set comes in preppy stripes, it’s even better! I was choosing between this set and my floral dress for my Joe Fresh outfit post…and of course the dress won, but I still love this look a lot too.

I adore floral tops – and this sheer peach-coloured one is so pretty! It looks great dressed down with jeans – but I also think it would look elegant tucked into black pants for an evening look.

So I basically bought this sweatshirt to wear on Valentines Day – pink sweaters with hearts on them are not always easy to find in adult sizes LOL! My previous Valentine’s Day sweater (navy with a big red heart) has a hole in it, so I needed a replacement.

I think we all know that I don’t need any more blanket scarves – but I fell in love with this one because it’s the same design as the original ZARA blanket scarf, but in a pink colorway! Also, it’s more of a rectangle than a square, so is easier to wear – AND it was only $15!

I’m still debating about whether I’m keeping this Camo jacket or not. I love how it looks paired with pink…but the shocking truth is that I don’t always wear pink (!!!} and I’m not sure if it’s versatile enough to match the rest of my outfits. I guess I was tempted because it was only $20 on sale! With regards to Old Navy recommendations – I also ordered the cutest glitter bedroom slippers from them, and my friend Noelle looks fab in their moto jacket, so I’m going to check that out next time I’m in store!

I love the color combination of berry and pink together! In fact, since I also have the old navy jacket in burgundy I’m going to try pairing it with pink! Also loving all of your color block items. I’ll definitely have to bookmark these for ideas 🙂 Thank you for the shout out as well!
