I have such exciting news to share with you guys today – I’ve partnered with Cabi Clothing as a Spring Ambassador! I’ve picked my favourites from their Spring 2020 collection and will be sharing styling ideas in a series of blog posts over the next few months.
My first post HAD to feature the Grace Blazer and Trousers in Carnation Pink – because I LOVE pink, and I’ve always wanted a pastel pink suit! Pastel suits have been popular for several seasons now – I’ve often seen them worn during Fashion Week, paired with low ponytails and chunky white sneakers.
Here are several ways you could style a pastel pink suit:
- DRESSY DAYTIME: with a white camisole and kitten heels (as seen in my pics)
- DAYTIME WORK: with a long sleeve, low-neck blouse – with the sleeves cuffed and rolled up with the suit sleeves
- GLAM EVENING LOOK: with the blazer buttoned up and a nude camisole underneath, worn with layered gold chain necklaces and high heels
- CASUAL FASHION FORWARD: with a white t-shirt and white sneakers
Fit selection is very important when styling a pastel suit. People often size up when going for a fashion forward look, while close-fitting is better for work events. I like my blazers to be fitted on my shoulders, so I picked an XS Blazer. The trousers are true to size, with a bit of stretch – I’m wearing a size 2 in these pics.
