1) It is elegant yet understated and goes well with casual outfits (i.e. what I wear 95% of the time!)
2) It can also be worn as a shoulder bag
3) You don’t have to worry about staining or handle darkening as you do with light colored Bals. (Fading can be a problem – but Katherine from Feather Factor shares a solution for that here.)
4) It’s spacious and durable – so it’s a great “Mommy” bag
5) The best reason: My sweet hubby got me one for my birthday/anniversary present ♥♥♥♥

I have two knock offs of this bag (one large and one small). I love it and wish I could afford a real one!
They are ridiculously pricey – especially in Canada…but this wedding anniversary is a big one – and it's definitely cheaper than diamonds – and I love it more – not really into wearing too much jewelry!

Hi!I would like to order my first Bal bag so badly, I love this! Can I ask, what kind of your Bal (City) is now when you have used it? Does it damaged easily?
Hi Anniina,I've used this bag around a couple of times a month – I haven't had any noticeable damage or fading. I think black is a good option because you don't have to worry about handle discoloration or color transfer.
