It’s been a month since I started my Castor Oil Eyelash Experiment (initial post about it is here). I’ve been pretty good about applying it – usually at least 5 nights a week. I’ve stuck with the clear Castor Oil – as it is relatively odorless, and less likely to irritate my eyes.
Here is an update photo – the top photo was before, and the bottom photo is one month into the experiment.
Conclusions: There doesn’t seem to be any noticeable change. My lashes look a little spikier in the bottom pic because I used an oily eye make up remover today. I know that a lot of lash growth solutions take at least 6 weeks to take effect, so I’m going to continue applying the Castor Oil for another month. Will post another photo then.
I wouldn't put any type of oil on my eyelashes, as it could be painful if gotten in the eyes! I got Revitalash as a b-day gift back in July of this year. My lashes are so long and even curlier! I love the way they look, and I get tons of compliments! I wouldn't waste my time with oil, try Revitalash.
I have gotten Castor Oil in my eyes – but it was no big deal – no stinging or anything – it was like getting Olive oil in my eyes. Castor oil is already used in so many toiletries, I'm not really worried about it.Thanks for the tip about Revitalash. I have heard really good things about Lilash as well. But I prefer to stick to natural and/or organic products 🙂 I know that the Castor Oil may not work – but I thought it was worth a shot! I'll give it another month or so.
I can't wait for your next update, I am currently reading up on eyelash growers and was a bit disappointed about the comments about the side effects. I'm still hopeful.
Just one month left to go 🙂 I'm optimistic – apparently Castor Oil helps with the growth of new lashes (which takes around 6 weeks). My sister said she noticed that my lashes seemed longer – so here's hoping for noticeable results soon!
Revitalash helped me a lot. Im so happy with my lashes after using Revitalash.
