I’ve been LOVING my Marc Jacobs Single bag – it’s my everyday bag – and it puts a smile on my face whenever I look down at its quilted cuteness!
However – as you can see, it’s a teeny TINY bag – quite similar to Chanel’s WOC. I’ve had to downsize a LOT so that I could use this bag – I guess it’s true love when you’re willing to make sacrifices 😉
There are 3 compartments inside the bag. The back has a row of card slots, so you can keep your credit cards in the bag instead of in a separate wallet. I prefer using my own wallet as it makes it easier to switch out to a bigger bag on the weekends. The cupcake sticker shows where I keep my iPhone (since I was using it to take pictures).
Inside my bag:
-blue wallet (the smallest wallet I own…am on the hunt for a cuter one)
-Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene 6-keyholder
-Wet Ones travel wipes
-ELF blotting papers
-pen
-mini BALMSHELL lipgloss
-mirror
-garage door opener
-iPhone 4s (pictured below)
Things I had to give up carrying: (I carry them in my bigger bag on the weekends)
-extra wallet containing store cards/gift cards
-tylenol & gum
-hand cream & cuticle cream
-more toiletries (lipliner, nail file, hairbrush)
-sunglasses (I keep them by the door and wear them out)
Down-sizing was hard because I like being prepared, but when I looked at what I needed on a day-to-day basis (basically the school run) I realized I didn’t need to carry so much stuff. If I am going to be out longer during the week – it’s easy enough to switch to a bigger bag…but for now, my shoulders are thanking me!

Your shoulders will certainly be thanking you! I carry way too much stuff in my purse (for example: there are at least 10 lipsticks & glosses in there). But when I do clean it out I always find myself wishing I had kept the stuff in there that I took out.
Oh yes – in my weekend bag, I always end up accumulating so much stuff too, so I know how you feel – especially with the multiple lip glosses!
Always love reading these type of posts 🙂 When I'm just running around, doing errands or on the weekends, I like to use smaller bags. But during the week I carry bigger bags to work.
I love seeing what's inside bags too! You switch your bags out a lot – and they coordinate with your outfits so well 🙂

Yes – I feel insecure without my tylenol or gum – so I keep some by my front door and some in my car – but it's better to always have it on hand.

I know – it was quite the sacrifice for me – especially not carrying around hand cream LOL!
You know I love quilted anything! This bag is great for everyday running around. I think it's easier having a large bag to haul everything in, but smaller bags force you to downsize – always a good thing :)LOVE the LV wallet! I really want an LV bag for my birthday this year 😉

I don't think my wallet (even my pared down wallet) would fit in any way shape or form in this bag. I love the pink faux-ostrich skin…Aldo has a smaller bag with that material and I love it. I think you should get the purple one – it's on sale and it's SUPER CUTE!

Love the bag! Very similar look to the Chanel but this is much more affordable! My favourite bag now is my Longchamp Pliage, unfortunately I keep adding more and more stuff to my bag and now I need to carry a large one! I need to take a lesson from you and downsize!
Downsizing is hard – but worth it 🙂 It's amazing to think of how much stuff I was carrying around, that I hardly used!

This little cutie is amazing! It definitely feels so freeing to just sling on a little mini rather than lugging a huge suitcase around with you (which is what I do, lol). It holds the necessities and is great for hands-free, which is very empowering!!! Love it.

It seems like a pretty durable leather to me – but to be on the safe side, I wiped it down with AppleGuarde leather protectant. Hope that helps!
