Loving my ZARA coats this Fall

I’ve noticed a trend this Fall – as the weather gets cooler, I’m frequently reaching for my ZARA coats. I have an assortment of different styles – and this is the perfect time to wear these lighter pieces.

ZARA Tweed Coat, Jeans: GARAGE, Necklace: BR (similar), Shoes: Forever21, Bag: Balenciaga First

This pink tweed coat is from last year. I’m in love with the fabric- it looks like something from Legally Blonde. My daughter is not as enamored with the coat as I am – she asked me why I was wearing “a shabby farmer’s coat with loose threads” LOL!

ZARA TRF Quilted Jacket (similar), Top: GARAGE, Jeans: GAPFlats: Old Navy (similar), Necklace: F21

This faux-leather TRF jacket is really warm – I wore it out this morning but I had to take it off by the afternoon. I love the quilted material – it gives the jacket a more feminine edge.

Sweater: ZARA (similar), Necklace: Forever21, Jeans: GAP, Flats: Old Navy, Bag: Marc Jacobs

Although this top is a cardigan, it’s quite thick and feels more like outerwear than a sweater. Since it’s from the Girl’s department, it’s on the boxier side but I think it works well with the whole “shrunken-fit” look.

What coats are you wearing this fall?

DISCLAIMER: Not a sponsored post – I’m just seriously loving my ZARA coats!

Hi, I love the zara quilted jacket & have recently found one for sale. I'm worried it might be too large though. Do you mind if I ask what size jeans/tops you normally wear? As I see yours is a Small. I am a size 26 in jeans & wear a small top. Thank you for help!

I really love your quilted Zara jacket & recently found one for sale in a size Medium but I'm concerned it may be too large. I was wondering if you would mind sharing what size you normally are in jeans & tops? I know Zara sizing can sometimes be all over from some of the pieces I own. I normally wear a 26 in jeans & a size small top. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

It's hard to say, because as you mention, ZARA sizing is ALL over the place – especially between ZARA Woman and ZARA TRF (the jacket is from the TRF line)My jacket is an S – it is a shrunken fit, so I could easily wear an M too, and it wouldn't look too big. In terms of sizing – I usually wear an XS from Old Navy if that helps at all LOL – their clothing sizing is on the looser side, whereas ZARA is definitely on the tighter side.My pink tweed coat is also a ZARA S, but since it is from the ZARA Woman line, it is looser, and I probably could have gotten an XS in it instead.

Thank you so much for your help! I think I will go for it, I figure if it fits a bit looser than I can wear bulkier tops underneath it. 😊

Oh my word, your daughter's comment cracks me up. Where do they (kids in general) come up with some of the things they say!?!? I seriously LOVE coats… I pick a few up every year but I think it's time to start thinning out my collection. 😉
