Make-up in the Mail: Vichy Idéalia, Skinceuticals AOX Eye Gel, Live Clean Lovely Lips & Kellet Skincare

“Make-up in the Mail” posts feature products that I’ve been sent to sample. I take my time to thoroughly test and review products, but I don’t want my readers to miss out on the latest and greatest on the market while I formulate my reviews. Thus “Make-up in the Mail” posts introduce new products and highlight their special features – with future in-depth reviews of certain products to follow!

Product: Vichy Idéalia Life Serum ($59)
What is it? A serum that refines pores, evens out skintone and makes you look fresh and radiant.
Why is it special? Uses LR2412 (derived from Jasmine) and LHA (derived from salicylic acid) to repair and protect while improving skin texture. Has a hypoallergenic scent which smells UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING – a light combination of green tea, jasmine, lily & musk – it makes application such a pleasure! Contains radiance-boosting pearls so that it also works as a primer.
Who is it good for? Anyone who wants radiant skin – especially people who worry about the effects of “behavioral aging” – i.e. skin affected by exposure to stress, UV rays, pollution, and/or a poor diet.

Product: Skinceuticals AOX+ Eye Gel ($80)
What is it? Antioxidant eye treatment that treats signs of aging, photo-damage and fatigue.
Why is it special? Combines effective antioxidants (Phloretin, L-Ascorbic Acid and Ferulic Acid) with targeted actives (Evergreen derivative and Caffeine) to protect against skin damage while reducing puffiness and under-eye bags.
Who is it good for? People who want to use powerful ingredients to protect the skin around their eyes and keep it looking smooth.

Product: LIVE CLEAN Lovely Lips ($4.29 each)
What is it? A lip balm range containing 3 formulations – Soothing (Peppermint Oil), Moisturizing (Jojoba Oil) and Protecting (Vitamin E)
Why is it special? Formulated from eco-friendly AND Certified Organic ingredients. Uses sunflower, safflower and coconut oils blended with beeswax to nourish your lips. Love the oval shape – makes it fun to apply and easy to slip into your jeans pocket!
Who is it good for? Anyone who wants soft lips without having to worry about ingesting harmful ingredients and chemicals.

Product: Kellett Clear Skincare Trial Kit ($75)
What is it? Kit containing 3 products – Polishing Gel Cleanser, Moisturizing Gel and Clarifying Acne Treatment
Why is it special? The Kellet line is created by Dr Lisa Kellett, a top Canadian Dermatologist. I first heard about this skincare kit on a Facebook Beauty Forum that I’m a member of. Every single FB group member who has tried the Polishing Gel Cleanser RAVES about how amazing it is!
Who is it good for? People who suffer from adult acne and want to use specially formulated products that address blemishes while treating signs of aging.

Have you heard of or tried any of these new products?

Hi Alison – I'm always a huge fan of natural lip products because it's so easy to ingest! The Lovely Lips are available at Walmart, Shoppers Drugmart and Rexall Pharma Plus – and perhaps even on well.ca.

These all sound great! I've always been curious about Vichy, I sometimes see it at CVS. I should try it! The lip balms sound lovely too. It's been so dry around here that my skin is starting to get really dry 🙁
