The place was set up beautifully – with jewelry-making crafts & Kiss Press-On nails for the kids, and 4 gel manicure stations for the adults. I didn’t take too many photos of the event because I was too excited to try the gel polish (and also super-busy chatting with Mehreen & Oliva!).
|Mommy & Daughter nails – gel for me, press-ons for her! Mini is not usually allowed to wear nailpolish so she was so excited about her floral nails!|

Applying the Gel nails was surprisingly simple – it was just like a regular manicure except that you place your nails underneath the LED Gel lamp between coats. This process is meant to harden the polish so that it lasts without chipping for 14 days.

Just getting the chance to apply a gel manicure and meeting lovely friends at the event was enough for me – I had no idea that we would be SO GENEROUSLY gifted with our own GEL sets !!!I’m SO excited about this – we’ll be going on a beach holiday in December and I had planned on going to a salon for a gel mani/pedi for our trip …but now I can do my my own gel treatment at home! It’s like having my own mini-salon.Thank you so much to Elaine and Kiss Nails for such a wonderful event! What I wore to the party was was completely inspired by the outfit Wendy styled for Jean in their video collaboration. Have you seen it? It’s my fave youtube video EVER (view it here).
