Our house move is taking longer than expected…the builders are 2-3 weeks past their finish date, and the whole place is SO dusty! Hopefully they should be out of here by the end of this week, and I can finally start putting things away properly – I hate living in chaos!
To take my mind off things, I went shopping last weekend…I also went to the salon for a hair cut and massage. Although I went to many different stores, I ended up only buying clothes from H&M and Garage:
Here are the items I ended up purchasing from H&M – notice a peachy-pink theme?
This shawl is so soft and light. It’s 100% acrylic but feels like cotton.
This button-down shirt is creamy with a hint of peach – great for hot summer days.
This slouchy t-shirt was on sale for $7 – I love how it drapes. I also picked up the slim flared jeans I’m wearing from Garage – for some reason their jeans fit me best.
That’s all I have for now…I should get back to unpacking boxes (fun???!!)
Love those soft colors, great finds! Nice to see your gorgeous face 🙂
You look wonderful in peachy/cream! I think it compliments dark hair perfectly. Good luck with the move!
Omg- you didn't block your face out in the first photo!!! You are so, SO gorgeous! 🙂 🙂 Great buys, love the way the last shirt drapes, too.
Great picks Ella! I love H & M for their stylish but affordable clothes. Moving is so stressful (especially with kiddies) so glad to know that you indulged in some retail therapy that didn't break the bank! thanks for the post 🙂
Lilly – I'm such a sucker for soft colors! Thanks for the compliment :-)Beautygirl24 – thanks! I need all the luck I can get with this move – it seems to be a never-ending process!Ashley – you're too sweet – thanks 🙂 The draped shirt is so easy to wear – I thought I'd have to adjust it a lot, but I wore it all day yesterday with no problems. Thanks MMC! Retail therapy really is the best therapy…and what I love about H&M is that they have such a diverse selection, so you're always bound to find at least one good thing to buy 🙂
Shopping is the best way to take your mind of some things! :)http://giveawaysforeveryone.blogspot.com/
Love the new purchases, so soft and feminine. I hope you can get in the new house asap!!
Marina – too true!Andi – Would you believe, we're already in the new house – I wanted to wait until the renovations were completed, but finally we couldn't wait any more. The funny thing is, I've moved from London to New York, and then from New York to here…and my current move (which is only 15 minutes away from my old place) has been the most exhausting move yet!
Heyy, I recently started a fashion forum "StyleThis!" a place where beauty/fashion gurus can get together and chat about what they have in common and also start discussions. I hope you'll stop by sometime to check it out and hopefully join!http://stylethis.forumotion.com/Be sure to spread the word to your friends. Thanks so much 🙂
