Good Evening Upper East Siders…ok, I may not have much gossip to share – but I do have some insider information on a new-to-Canada clothing brand!
Have you ever shopped at Uniqlo before? They recently opened two stores in Canada – one in the Eaton Centre and the other in Yorkdale. Their arrival was highly anticipated, due to their reputation for high quality, affordable basics. Think J.Crew / Club Monaco quality at H&M prices – that’s a pretty amazing combo, right?
I recently visited the Uniqlo PR showroom to pick out an outfit for this post – and I was immediately drawn to this chic dress and coat pairing. Doesn’t it look like something Lily van der Woodsen would wear? Well…she’d probably also be carrying a Birkin bag, but we’ll ignore that minor detail 😉

The camel coat is SO Upper East Side chic, while the turtleneck dress is the perfect dose of Winter White. I added leopard heels and a red clutch for a pop of colour. Would you believe my dress retails for C$49.90 and the cashmere blend coat is C$159.90? Total bargain! If you’re looking luxe basics at an affordable price point – I’d definitely recommend stopping by!
Have you ever shopped at Uniqlo before? What did you buy?
I've never actually shopped at Uniqlo. I've been in the store numerous times but couldn't decide on what to buy. They have so many options! Haha, so I would just walk into the store, look around and then leave. But your outfit is gorgeous!LindaTypically Linda || Instagram
Thank you Linda! I feel that way about some stores too…like Aritzia – I always see the cutest outfits from there, but whenever I'm in the store, I can never pick out anything to buy LOL!
Literally the most stunning photos! This look is definitely one of my all-time favorites.
Awww thanks Noelle – I loved trying this more sophisticated look!
