As a blush lover, I was SO excited to get the chance to try out the Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush Liquid Blush range. I love liquid blushes because they’re easy to apply and I feel that they look more natural and glowy than powder blush.
The YSL Make Me Blush Liquid Blushes are buildable, long-lasting and they blend out to a blurred-look finish. You can apply it straight from the applicator and blend it out with your fingers – which is perfect when you’re on the go. It also looks very pretty when applied with my favourite blush brush.
Some cream blushes disappear after a few hours – but this formula is meant to last 12 hours – and I’d definitely say these are long-lasting, even if you don’t set it with a powder.
Here are the 6 shades I received:

BLUSH SWATCHES:
Shade Name: 44 Nude Lavalliere
Shade Colour: dusty nude pink
My Thoughts: Such a pretty and natural looking flush of colour

Shade Name: 54 Berry Bang
Shade Colour: deep red berry
My Thoughts: Don’t be alarmed by the deep colour, you can use a tiny amount for a lighter look.

Shade Name: 66 Fuchsia Fling
Shade Colour: bright pop of pink
My Thoughts: One of my favourite shades, love how it brightens up my face.

Shade Name: 57 Coral Clash
Shade Colour: light peachy coral
My Thoughts: Super light colour, but very buildable. In the try-on picture I’m wearing 3 layers of it!

Shade Name: 69 Lavender Lust
Shade Colour: soft lavender
My Thoughts: This shade faced a lot of controversy when it came out, as it didn’t seem to work with every skin tone. On me, it looks more like a highlight than a blush.

Shade Name: 37 Peachy Nude
Shade Colour: warm pink nude
My Thoughts: Another super natural looking colour – reminds me of the flush I get after a workout.

Have you tried the Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush Liquid Blush range? I also received the YSL Make Me Blush 24H Buildable Powder Blush – I’ll be reviewing them soon!
