Spring is SO my season…not only is it acceptable to wear lots of pink and florals – it’s actually encouraged!
In today’s post, I’ve collaborated with Reitmans to share three fun ways to style their Pocket Raincoat in Rosewater. I love how this raincoat combines style and function. It’s lightweight and completely water-repellent, so it’s very practical, but it’s also flowy – like a stylish duster coat – and the pretty colour adds a feminine touch to any outfit!
In the pic above, I’ve styled it for a weekend brunch with friends. I paired it with a floral wrap dress from Reitmans, nude heels and a black belt bag. I love layering lightweight coats over ladylike dresses – it makes me feel very Parisian and chic!
This second outfit is my everyday uniform – distressed jeans, comfortable flats and a lacy top. I enjoy mixing pink, nude and blush shades together. The fact that they’re all slightly different yet complementary shades brings interest and dimension to a simple outfit.
This versatile raincoat even works with a more tailored look – like this ready-for-work outfit. The camisole is from Reitmans Essentials line and is reversible – so you have the option of either wearing it as a v-neck or a scoopneck. The pants have a modern feel, because they’re higher-waisted, have a tie-front and are slightly cropped. I finished off my look with strappy heels and a roomy bag.
Which of these three looks is your favourite?

Loving these looks! So so pretty http://www.divaredefined.com/
Thank you 🙂
You have great taste and I'm also loving the looks that you put together. I never know what to wear and I've been studying your outfits. I'm getting a better sense of how to put together an outfit. I went shopping and kept many things in mind on color schemes. I'm too old to wear the worn out jeans look, but you do have outfits that can work for a range of ages or they are ageless. Very classy too.
Thank you for your sweet comment – I’m so glad that you find my posts helpful. Sounds like you’re on the right track – putting outfits together fall into a pattern, and after focusing on it a bit, it definitely becomes much easier! And taking mirror pics while trying outfits on helps give you an overview to see what goes together and what needs to be switched out 🙂
