What you wear to a wedding depends on a lot of factors. Is it a formal event or will it be casual? Will it be held indoors or outside? Is it a destination wedding? To help provide outfit inspiration for different scenarios, we each went
shopping at Oshawa Centre with a different type of wedding in mind.
Oshawa Centre carries many of our favourite clothing stores – such as Le Chateau and H&M, and they recently expanded to offer many new stores, including ZARA and Forever21. Shopping for our outfits was SO easy – we were spoiled for choice!
I chose an outfit to wear to an Outdoor Garden Wedding. I picked this blouse and skirt combo from Le Chateau. The white blouse has ruffles and a cold shoulder cutout that I love so much. The skirt is lined with tulle so it flares out prettily on it’s own – it also has pockets!
I love the dark floral pattern on this skirt, as it could work for any season – you could pair it with a pink fitted blouse in the summer, and a darker plum or black in the colder months. This quilted bag from Aldo has pretty pom poms in colours that match the floral skirt. It comes with a chain shoulder strap that I tucked inside so that I could carry it as a clutch. Nude patent heels are a classic – and this pair from Old Navy is a steal at under $40. The low-heel design and easy-to-clean pleather make it the perfect choice to wear outside.
Jenelle dressed for an Indoor Daytime Wedding – opting for a pretty floral dress with a cognac belt and matching shoes. Eleni’s outfit would work for a Formal Wedding – pairing a pretty cropped top with a jewel-toned velvet pleated skirt. Mandy’s flowy maxi is perfect for a Destination Beach Wedding – she combined it with pretty tassel earrings and wedge heels.

These wedding outfits are all lovely and truly I would wear all of them. My preference is the Destination Wedding outfit, it is so flowy and free. You all look amazing!
