My Invitation to Breakfast at Tiffany's

It was the invitation no girl can EVER refuse…Breakfast at Tiffany’s, in honor of the new flagship store located at 150 Bloor Street West.

The iconic blue entrance led through to the fine jewelry section, where we were invited to try on and photograph any piece that caught our eye…I immediately headed towards the rose gold and pink diamond offerings. I tried on the Schlumberger Sixteen Stone ring, the Hearts ring, and the Metro Hinged Bangle.

Then it was upstairs to the engagement ring room: I adored the serene blue furniture complemented by the Art Nouveau magnolia etchings.

“If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s… The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.” – Holly Golightly, Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Trying on a 4.89 carat engagement ring was definitely a life-changing moment!

Breakfast was laid out in the handbag boutique – but I was too excited to eat!

So I headed over to check out some of the more affordable options in the Fashion Jewelry room – loved the slim purse pens and the blue bow 3 piece feeding set ($150) – for the baby who has everything! I’d be tempted to use it for breakfast in bed instead – it’s so chic! I also spotted the sweetest bow mini-bead bracelet ($195) – it stacked nicely with my pink enamel heart bead bracelet.

As we left, we were generously gifted with these engraved USB keys – I’m going to use mine as a paperweight too – it will make my workspace look so elegant!

What I wore to the event: Tried to channel Audrey Hepburn in my most lady-like outfit. And naturally, I wore China Glaze For Audrey on my nails!

Loved catching up with MomsMakeupStash, NelleCreations and LinerGlitterGloss.

Thanks Mel – I really loved what they did with the store – they kept all the traditional elements and added in some inspiration from the 1930s – it was perfect!
