There have been SO many fluctuations in jean styles recently – it can be hard to decide which type to pick. Should you get high, mid or low rise jeans? When it comes to cut – do you need straight legs or wide legs?
I’m loving the current denim selection at GAP because the options are on trend but will still look timeless even when fashion cycles shift. I am literally obsessed with the GAP High Rise Stride Jeans with Washwell. They have a classic high-waisted trouser jean design – which looks so good with fitted and cropped tops. High waisted jeans can feel a bit constricting (especially when you’re sitting down) but this pair is made of a firm material that provides support – yet has a bit of stretch so it always feels super comfortable on! I’m wearing a size 27 in these pictures.
These jeans work well in every season – I love it paired with the Shaker Stich Cardigan sweater in the colder months, and am saving this Puff Sleeve Sweetheart Crop top for Spring.

GAP Puff Sleeve Smocked Peplum Top / GAP High Rise Stride Jeans with Washwell / GAP High Rise Split-Hem ’70s Flare Jeans with Washwell
The previous Puff Sleeve top is cropped – but they also have this peplum version if you’re looking for something a bit longer. It can be worn as is or tucked in. I love how it looks paired with these light wash 70s Flare Jeans.
Navy stripes are a classic every year, but this season the silhouette has been updated to feature an oversized wider design, split side hems and elongated sleeves. This Oversized Turtleneck sweater looks designer but costs less than $100 – and it’s even more affordable when you take advantage of GAP’s current PROMOS:
From now until January 28 you can save 40% off regular price styles with code TREAT with an extra 10% off regular price styles with code ADDIT. For sale items, you can use code SALE for an extra 60% off! Some restrictions may apply.
Which of these jeans is your fave?
