Forever 21 Haul & SPARKing My Photography Skills

I had a lunch date with my bestie S today, with a minor detour at Forever21 – we couldn’t resist all their colorful spring offerings.

LOVE21 Floral and Chiffon Paneled Top

Some of my best Forever21 finds are from LOVE21, which has a more sophisticated and contemporary focus. It was love at first sight with this light & bright floral top.

Forever21 Rose Scarf

The long and drawn-out winter has made me seriously crave florals in all forms…so this pretty rose scarf HAD to come home with me (there was only one in store, and I can’t find it online). I nearly bought this plaid scarf too – I love the soft blue and red prints.

Down-To-Earth Leaf Leggings

S and I were having serious 90s flashbacks at the store (crop tops, oversize plaid shirts, hippie-chic maxi dresses, printed floral jumpsuits). We weren’t too tempted by any of those items since we’d already been there and done that 😉 But I did love the print on these leggings – I didn’t buy them (kind of regretting it now!) but if I did, I would pair them with an oversized t-shirt and gold sandals.

Forever21 Horseshoe pendant, Forever Glam Drop Earrings
Cupcake pendant, Parisian pendant , Touch-Of-Glam Faux Stone Studs, Wishbone pendant, Forever Glam Drop Earrings

I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of their accessories section empty-handed. This time I picked up a cupcake pendant for my daughter (I couldn’t find it online but it was only $1.80!), 2 delicate chain pendants and some seriously sparkly earrings.

Mod Girl Satchel (hot pink) & Classic Structured Crossbody (blush pink)
Signature Quilted Shoulder Bag (mint),  Fancy Quilted Shoulder Bag (blush pink), Mod Girl Satchel (hot pink) & Classic Structured Crossbody (blush pink)

The current bag selection is AMAZING. I tried on the mint quilted bag, while my friend S purchased the Cambridge Satchel-inspired Mod Girl Satchel. I nearly picked up a satchel for myself, but I’m saving for a certain mini Pashli – so I wanted to be good.

I can’t wait for next weekend – I’ve signed up for the SPARK session photography workshop. I learned SO much at their blogging conference last year (read about my experience here) – so I know that this photography course will be AMAZING. The workshops organizers are the top beauty & fashion bloggers in Canada (including one of my blogging besties Elaine!) so they’re able to provide the most relevant information. I really want to improve my outfit and product photography – and this workshop will teach everything from photo composition, to camera settings and photo-editing. There are only a few spaces left – so if you’re in the GTA and looking to take your blog photography to the next level – hurry up and purchase your tickets here! We can study together 🙂

DISCLAIMER: This is not a sponsored post, I purchased the Forever21 items and SPARK tickets myself.

You are truly the bestest <3 I love the necklaces you got and those purses are dangerous especially since I'm trying not to spend $ so the price point of those might satisfy me for a bit 😉

Wowza! Not to be an enabler or anything but that scarf and floral pant need to go home with you. I NEED that scarf – it's so gorgeous. Beautiful choices.

Thanks Ashley! The scarf definitely came home with me – there was only 1 in the store so I held on to it pretty tight LOL! But I think I'll have to look out for those pants next time I'm in store – I love the print.

Thanks Hoda – I wanted to share my F21 finds while they were still in stock – they have some pretty cute items but they tend to sell out quickly. Glad you liked the post!

Seriously, there are some 90s styles that NEED to stay in the 90s. It really scares me! And I was the first to don all that 90s apparel, but I'm pretty much over it now! I love all the florals! I'm always impressed by your F21 finds! Sometimes I just don't have the strength for that store!! Carylee | morepiecesofme.com

I know what you mean about having the strength for Forever21 – you definitely have to be in the mood for hunting when you shop there – but it's definitely worth it 🙂
