I could go on MUCH longer but I won’t! It’s interesting to see what items I’m drawn to time and time again. I think it’s okay to own multiples as long as you get good use out of them – not purchase them just for the sake of acquiring them.

What are there multiples of in your closet?

p.s. Check out my guest post on Schnelle’s blog about my love of hot pink!

I love everything about this post- especially the accessories. You have one fantastic collection of leopard scarves. I have 3 myself but I love yours. I always buy in multiples too.

Thanks Schnelle – I'd love to see a pic of your 3 leopard scarves (so nosy LOL!) – I love how they brighten up a neutral outfit.

My sister and I are obsessed with Garage denim too! As they say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Why change up something so good?!?Meganbudgetfashion101.blogspot.ca

I'm obsessed with Garage denim because they suck me in where I need to be sucked LOL – love it when they have buy one get one 50% off, but I'm often too impatient to wait for those 🙂

A visually beautiful post! Love the lace, pearls and leopard print! You have a chic wardrobe Ella 🙂 agree about usage, I'm at that point with my makeup collection, no more until I collect a few empties!

Thanks Parveen – I kept thinking how I'm drawn to the same items – but it's better to buy something I'll use rather than something just for the sake of being adventurous LOL!

I tend to buy multiples too. I have 6 gingham shirts and each time I see a new color I have to talk myself out of buying it lolI have to check out Garange denim. I'm always trying to find a good pair of jeans without breaking the bank.

Gingham is so timeless – I don't blame you for buying 6 – I love your purple gingham shirt, it's so pretty 🙂 You HAVE to check out Garage if you can – the jeans are around $40 (but they have buy one get one 50% off events) – and they are MUCH more flattering than Old Navy Rockstar jeans (I should know – every rockstar I've ordered makes me look like a sausage LOL!)

Oooo, this is such great eye candy! I love everything – the lace dress, scarves, bubble necklaces. I'm the same way Ella! I think a lot of us stick to things we know we love. Speaking of which, I want one more bubble necklace in black 😉

Those bubble necklaces – so addictive! I want one more in grey…it's so understated & different from my others, I think I can justify it 🙂

Love your collections of each item especially the leopard print scarves and lace dresses! I am the same…I seem to gravitate towards certain things. I see no harm in it because in the end, I wear 5 different pairs of black skirts EACH more than I do 1 crazy print one or 3 different pairs of flip flops each more than one pair of sky high strappy heels.

Exactly – if we wear it, it's worth it 🙂 So good to hear from you Lindsay – will you be attending the She's Connected Conference? Would be fun to hangout again!

OH, I love your leopard scarves – I have several favorites (cough, cough – tippi sweaters) that I wear all the time. When you find a good thing, you tend to stick with it. 🙂

Hi Ella,First time poster – love your blog, it's perfect for a Canadian girl!I always thought Garage was for the "younger set", but went over to their website just now (thank you!) Jeans are on for $20-$25!!I will definitely go check them out, since I usually wear the ON Rock Star, and you recommend these over them. Thanks again!http://www.garage.ca/family/index.jsp?view=all&categoryId=12425363&locale=en_CA

Thanks for commenting! I used to think Garage was for the younger set too (I used to go to its sister company Chado – no longer exists) – but I'm very happy with the quality of Garage's staples (which are ageless) such as their denim and non-logo sweaters. Hope you like shopping there too!

Just found your blog, LOVE! I used to post much more fashion but have fallen into a new mom rut. I'm getting back into the game though if you're looking for a read. http://lindzlarubia.blogspot.comI fall into your multiples category as well. You find something you love and you can't get enough. I have four pairs of skinny jeans now and never thought I'd own one.

Thanks Lindz! I understand the new mom rut – I've trying to get out of the school run rut LOL! Skinny jeans are a lifesaver – especially in winter with boots – I don't think they'll ever go out of style in the colder months 🙂
