I’ve been getting so much use out of my Balenciaga bag – part of me only wants to use it on special occasions because it’s such a special bag – but that kind of defeats the purpose! Some people asked for modelling pics with the bag – so here I am before taking the kids to swimming class (that’s about as glamorous as my life gets LOL!)
Someone also wanted to see my 2 Balenciaga bags together – so here are Mummy & Baby Bals!

I’ve also been busy organizing my walk-in closet – I’m trying to make it as functional as possible. I’ve been finding amazing things at Winners (part of the TJMAXX family):
This jewelry organizer takes no space at all – and makes it easy for me to choose the right necklace for my outfit! Best part? It’s double-sided – and I haven’t filled up the first side – lots of room to grow…(the top part is a hanger – so it fits right next to my shirts)
I purchased many types of hangers – I’d never seen the gel trouser hangers before – they are perfect for hanging my jeans:
Also picked up a shabby chic jewelry display along with some items for my bathroom
And finally – I got a cheerful apron – to make cooking more exciting. Up until now, I’d been using a McDonalds apron that once belonged to my uncle…functional but not pretty!
Well – this has been a picture filled post! I leave you guys with my latest DIY project inspired by Pinterest – nailpolish on keys – no more fumbling at the door!
Do you wear an apron to cook – or am I the only person who ends up with grease stains EVERYWHERE?
It really is a perfect bag!!!!
Thanks Tali – it's surprisingly light too – so in love with it 🙂
At least you look gorgeous while sitting by the pool!
You're too sweet 🙂
Love this! Your Bags are beautiful! I love them both. And I think you look very glamourous 🙂
Thanks Noelle – the City bag can really make any outfit look good 🙂
I bought that same Bird necklace holder from Winners in gray ! hehe.
Too funny! I told you we'd like shopping together LOL!
when did you get your second bal? how is the leather on the new bags? is it dry?
The Black one I got recently for my anniversary, and the Sahara one I bought last year. I've heard the newer Bals have dry leather, but I've never felt an old Bal so I have nothing to compare it to – I do moisturize my bags regularly with Lovin My Bags conditioner though.
Such fun suggestions – I love the necklace organizer for the closet but I'm dying over the necklace organizer for your bathroom. I need to visit my TJ Maxx more often to find some cool additions for the house!
I love checking out Winners at least once a month – especially the kids shoe section – I love finding Stride Rite shoes (usually $60-$80 in Canadian children's stores!) for $25…and the beauty section…and the housewares – such good stuff! The clothes are great too, but I never really have the time to sort through them and try them on.
Just love your bags! It would be a dream to own one of those. And you look gorgeous, love the effortless chic outfit.
Thanks Lilly – I'm so happy with my 2 bags – I think my Balenciaga collection is complete 🙂
GORGEOUS bag and lots of fun finds! Thanks for sharing all your cute finds!!
Thanks Jenni – I love sharing what I find in stores – and really love fitting room reviews (like the great ones on your blog!)
OMG Ella!! You look so beaut holding it, really love how you styled it, effortlessly chic! Ooooh and they lol so cute together I think I may need another one in the smaller size then I'll have a Dad, Mum and baby Bal lol! Love the colour of your smaller bag 🙂 x x
Thanks Parveen – I took the Mummy & Baby pic for you LOL! A Bal family of 3 would be too cute – can't wait to see what you get. Am loving your teeny MK bag – it's SO adorable! You need to do a bag collection post so that we can all drool ;-P
Love the DIY project!
Thanks! It makes me smile everytime I use my keys 🙂
I love the jewelry organizer, I need something like that. I got a velvet display rack a few months ago, like you see in the stores, and while I like it, it is a b!tch to dust and takes up so much room – I need to scout out some organizers like yours.
I love displays that look like they belong in boutiques/stores – but I know that is just not practical for me 🙁 I'm really loving the green organizer – just grab a necklace and go, and slip it back into the pocket at the end of the day.
I love your pale coloured Balenciaga!Would love you to check out my latest outfit post :)Happy weekend Hun xoxohttp://www.intotheblonde.com/
Thanks Adele – loved your neon bag in your latest outfit post – great blog!
OMG great minds think alike! I used a new apron I bought today too…except mine was $2 at the dollar store. I don't have the heart to buy a nice one that will then get stained with food splatters that wont wash out. One day, maybe I will sew one of my own and maybe I'll make a matching one for my sister. Matching sibling aprons – that's not too cheesy is it?
I'm hoping the busy pattern will hide any stains – because there will be many! And siblings should ALWAYS look like twins whenever possible – that is my philosophy 🙂
i love getting ideas on pinterest <3im definitely going to try the colored keys <3
You should definitely try it – so easy and makes such a difference!
Wow-that is one beautiful bag!! Actually-2 beautiful bags! They are both absolutely perfect and you look incredible. I just re-did our walk-in closet on Monday as well-what a nice feeling to be organized and know just what we have! Love your new organizational additions
Thanks Andi – my closet is still in progress – I'm 80% done. It will feel good to have everything in sight – then I'll know what I need to buy – rather than mindless shopping (though that is fun too sometimes LOL!)
Someday I´m going to buy also this Balenciaga city bag, I just have to save first money, a lot.. But this will win my other wishes LV artsy and Alexa 🙂 I Love your BLOG!
Thanks – glad you enjoy my blog! I love the Alexa as well 🙂
The colour-coded keys are a great idea! Do you have to apply a top coat to prevent chipping lol 😛 Love this post. Please take a look: http://missmel7.blogspot.com.au/
Hi Melissa! Yes, I applied several layers of topcoat to be on the safe side…and the polish is still holding up really well all these months later 🙂
