I try a LOT of makeup, so I have a LOT of opinions – here are the products that actually impress me and are worth the price tag. The Sephora Sale 2026 (the Sephora Savings Event for Spring) starts April 10 (for rouge) and April 14 (for VIB and insiders). Use code SPRINGSALE for 20/15/10 percent off your purchases!

MAKEUP:
I need my winged liner to stay in place – but a lot of my previous favourites (Stila, Sephora collection) no longer work – I don’t know what changed in their formulation but they streak or disappear. I tested a lot of recommendations from drugstore to high-end, and the MAC Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Eyeliner is the only one that doesn’t budge. The formula is a little thick so you have to wipe the brush carefully before applying – but once it’s on, it lasts all day!
Huda Beauty Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation (toasted coconut 240n) is my favourite foundation – it’s buildable, the perfect colour match and leaves a soft focus finish. I pair it with Tarte shape tape concealer in 35N – I use this after applying colour corrector to make my under eyes look bright. The formula is thick so I only use the tiniest amount on well-moisturized skin. I’ve tried a lot of setting powders and the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder (shade 2) is my favourite one to take on the go – I use a light brush to apply and it tones down any shiny areas and makes my skin look airbrushed.
I contour my face with the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick Truffle 04 – it makes your face glowy and sculpted, and blends easily. For blush the new Benefit Play Daze Airy Liquid Blushes are pigmented, long-lasting and create a natural flush. I like to top it with YSL Make me Blush in shade 93 for a pretty glow. My favourite lipstick is the iconic MAC in Kinda Sexy -the prettiest neutral pink rose. My brow routine is always Benefit 24-HR Brow Setter Gel and Precisely, My Brow Pencil (shade 4) – super-strong hold and the most natural long-lasting colour.

SKINCARE/HAIR/PERFUME:
I’ll admit – I’ve tried ALL of the dupes for the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel – some broke me out because of their fragrances, others didn’t cleanse as well – so even though it’s pricy, I know it’s the one I have to keep stocking up on. It’s light, effective and perfect for acne-prone or sensitive skin. In the evening, I double cleanse so I use the Benefit POREfessional Cleansing Oil as a first step to break down makeup and sunscreen before going in with my cleansing gel. Once a week, I use the Benefit POREfessional Clay Mask to deep clean my pores – I also use this as a spot treatment on pimples to help dry them out.
After cleansing, I use the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum on wet skin to lock-in moisture. This is one of the most affordable HA serums on the market – and more importantly, it has a simple formula that doesn’t break me out (unlike some more expensive and fragranced (!?!) serums I’ve tried. On heavy makeup days, I prep my skin with the combo of Lancome Rénergie H.P.N. Cream and Serum – it’s pricey but it creates the perfect hydrated base.
My current favourite perfumes are YSL Libre L’eau Nue (obsessed with the orange blossom scent) and Lancome Idôle Eau de Parfum Intense (a sweet combination of sandalwood and rose)
For my hair, I’ve been incorporating the Fable & Mane HoliRoots Pre-Wash Oil on my roots once a week to strengthen my hair. And post-shower I NEED the Kerastase Elixir Ultime to unfrizz my hair. I used to be a long time fan of Moroccanoil – but the Kerastase feels lighter and makes my hair feel more shiny.
So here is my complete list with ALL my Sephora Sale 2026 recs. Have you tried any of these and do you love them too? Check out my previous recommendations here.
