Do you work out regularly? I wish I did – there are so many benefits for both your physical and mental health. But I’m caught in that cycle – I’m too tired to exercise, and then I’m tired BECAUSE I don’t exercise!

I’ve tried making it into a daily habit – just hopping on the elliptical and telling myself it’s ok to go at a slow pace, something is better than nothing. But I struggle with being consistent…does anyone else have that problem – and if so – any tips? My friend S and I are thinking of signing up for an exercise class once a week, to get
us into a healthier pattern. An Orange Theory Fitness recently opened up in our neighbourhood – so we may give that a try!
But for now – I’m mainly wearing my fitness gear while running errands. And I know I’m not the only one…there’s something about athletic wear that makes you feel like you can get a lot done! My outfit is head-to-toe from Marks Canada – did you know that they carried Adidas, Reebok, Nike and Shambala?
Everyone needs a cozy sweatshirt for the Fall – and this fleece-lined pullover from Reebok is SO soft! For an everyday athleisure look, it could also be paired with a leather jacket, distressed jeans and canvas tennis shoes. These Adidas tights are light and stretchy – they’re great for running errands – and would look cute with a grey tank – for when I actually decide to work out! The composition is 92% cotton, so it’s very breathable and comfortable to wear.
As for these Adidas Solyx Running Shoes – it really does feel like you’re walking on a cloud – their cushioned inner lining is called Cloudfoam midsole for a reason! They’re made of a stretchy mesh fabric so they’re very breathable and prevent your feet from over-heating. They also look SUPER cool – in fact, my son tried to claim they were his (um…his feet are still tiny compared to mine LOL!)
By the way – how do you feel about brand-mixing when wearing logo-ed
athletic gear? I tend to just pick out what I like (thus the Reebok/Adidas combo) – but hubby seems to
think it’s a faux pas!
DISCLAIMER: This is a sponsored post – thank you to Mark’s for partnering with me. As always – I only write about products I truly love!
I just tried orange fitness today since it's nearby my house too and it's amazing! You'll love it 🙂
Oooh so good to know you liked it!
i do exercise on a regular basis (4-5 times a week). I also work full time and am a mom. They key for me is to find an exercise you enjoy. If you don't like it, you won't keep it up. I run (outside, I hate running on treadmills), practice yoga (I enjoy hot power classes), train with kettle bells and also started lifting heavy in June using Strong Lift. I feel so much better mentally and physically when I exercise. I suggest signing up for a gym that offers different classes to see what you like. This is what I did back in the day when I first started.
Thanks for the tips – I definitely haven’t found the activity yet that I truly enjoy so I’ll try a bunch out!
Such a cute outfit! I’ve just gotten back in the workout routine. Drop the kids off to school, hit the gym. It does take dedication but I try to go at least 4-5 times a week just to force it into a habit. I need to lose those extra pounds I’ve gained! I’m always mixing my athletic brands! Wear what you like. Adidas pants and Nike sweaters. My go to outfits!
That is soooo amazing that you’ve incorporated it into your schedule – hope I get the discipline to do the same!
