I adore finding deals at the outlets, so I was very excited to collaborate with Toronto Premium Outlets for this post and share my best shopping finds with you!
My first stop was Saks Off 5th – where I spotted this gorgeous pink
tweed dress. The silhouette is so classic and timeless – it feels like
something Jackie O would have worn. The dress was designed by Nanette Lepore, and I paid
$90 (on sale from $188) for this dress.

For my next clothing find, I went from classic to completely distressed! My love
for distressed jeans is still going strong – and this pair below from American Eagle Outfitters has lots of rips, yet doesn’t show a lot of skin, thanks to its sewn-in patches. It also features custom-cut hems, which are very trendy at the moment – and are perfect for showing off your shoes! My sparkly necklace is also an outlet find – I can never pass up a J.Crew Factory store – their statement necklaces are so well-made. I paid $35 for this tortoise-shell & crystal necklace (the original price was $70).

My hair and makeup are a bit different in this second
photo. That’s because I visited the Shoppers Drug Mart #SDMBeauTIFFul Suite last week, and let their hair, makeup and manicure experts do their thing – here’s what they did:
Hair (by Anthony Cristiano using Phyto Products) – Although I have been parting my hair in the middle, Anthony said I had a square face and would look best with a side part and some volume in the “bangs” region. Since he has done Adriana Lima and Kim Kardashian’s hair – I definitely wanted to follow his advice! He braided my hair on one side and loosely curled the rest of my hair – these curls lasted for 4 days!!!
Makeup (by Lyndsay Craig using Stila and Ardell Products) – I usually wear bright lips, pink blush and lightly-lined eyes, but Lyndsay applied heavily winged liner, thick lashes, nude lips and a tawny blush. Although I still prefer a bright lip – I’m definitely going to replicate this eye and cheek look again.
Nails (by Melissa Forrest using Ceramic Glaze) -I’ve been wearing pale pink polishes all summer – so it was nice to switch it up with a rich burgundy polish. Click here for a closer look at my mini makeover.
I left the Shoppers Drug Mart TIFF Suite with a lot of exciting new goodies to try – including a DUO lash adhesive that you apply like a liner…I usually waste so many cotton buds using eyelash glue! I loved the Ardell Demi-Wispies lashes used in my makeover and will definitely be buying more of them. Other gifts included: Seche Vite Top Coat (and Base Coat – not pictured), Rihanna’s latest perfume Crush, Stila lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara AND a mini-bottle of Phyto shampoo.
What’s the best thing you’ve ever learned during a makeover? For me – I think it was watching how Anthony curled my hair – am going to try replicate it, fingers crossed!
DISCLAIMER: Toronto Premium Outlets provided me with a giftcard that I used for my purchases.
How fun! That tweed dress is giving me major envy! You know I love a good ladylike dress and in tweed it's even better. Also loving your hair and makeup in the second look! It was fun following your snaps this past weekend. You go to such cool events
