I love shopping (which is why I’m the Shopping Blogger over at Yummy Mummy Club) but I can’t possibly buy EVERY great deal I find (ha ha!) Still, I CAN share my favorite finds with you! This post is a mix of recent purchases along with some items that I loved but didn’t buy.

Purchased: JACOB jacket |
My favorite purchase is this jacket from the JACOB outlet. I’d been looking at these ZARA tweed jackets , but they fit strangely around my shoulders. This was originally priced at $139, with 50% off. Yet when I was checking out, it rung up for $29…such a steal!!!

JACOB dress, JACOB top, ZARA jacket |
I also tried on this blue dress and the lace capped shirt at JACOB. Seeing pictures of Kate Middleton on the Royal Tour makes me want to wear more dresses, but I want one that’s slightly longer than this blue one. I bought the white shirt – it’s a simple and classic piece and would look great paired with slim black pants. I purchased the quilted blue jacket on the right from ZARA, but I’m not sure if I should keep it. I’ve been looking for a lightweight, slim-fitting quilted jacket (especially useful when traveling) – but perhaps I should wait and invest in a classic Barbour jacket instead?

Didn’t Purchase: Rockstud Dupes from Urban Planet |
I don’t usually shop at Urban Planet – but my friend S and I decided to check it out – and we were SO surprised to see these Valentino Rockstud dupes for $35! I’ve spotted many inspired shoes – but these are the first exact copies I’ve seen.

Didn’t Purchase: Bucket Bag from Old Navy |
Apparently bucket bags are going to be very big this season (along with backpacks…but I’ll pass on those!) I thought these bags at Old Navy were very well-made, and a fun way to indulge in the bucket trend without spending a lot of money.

Didn’t Purchase: Michael Kors Wallet |
I spotted this adorable Michael Kors Hamilton Wallet at Winners – I love the vibrant orange colour as well as the tiny MK lock! However, half of the wallet was a phone holder, and I like carrying my phone separately. Speaking of adorable MK items, have you seen their tiny Hamilton bag? It fits next to nothing but is so darn cute!
My last set of purchases was thanks to my friend T. One of her friends owns a showroom and only sells wholesale lots to department stores…luckily for us, she made an exception and let us shop there at wholesale prices. This necklace was only $14 (!!!) It was hard not to ransack the store…but I tried to be very selective, and only purchased one other necklace and a bracelet, as well as some gifts for friends.
Hope you enjoyed virtual shopping with me! If you want some more eye candy, click over to check out all the pretties I spotted at the Indigo preview last week!
Which of these shopping finds do you like the best?
Linking up with More Pieces of Me and On the Daily Express.
I really like the bucket bags! I've spotted one on the Zara website and I think I'm going to pick one up next time I go shopping! They look pretty useful! xoMD from http://byourbself.blogspot.ca/ xo
A bucket bag is SO useful because it's crossbody and can hold a lot – enjoy your ZARA one – I'll have to check it out on the website!
I LOVE that Jacob jacket you bought! Amazing. And the necklace is so pretty, such a great statement piece!Kallie – But First, Coffee
Thanks Kallie – I love the blue stone in the necklace…I can never resist that pretty shade 🙂
I love the Jacob blazer….is the outlet in Heartland centre? I used to have 2 Jacob outlets within a 20 min drive but they both closed 🙁
Hi Melissa! The outlet is in the Dixie outlet mall… And I'll definitely be going back – they have such pretty clothes at Jacob!
those Rockstar dupes are pretty spot on! What a fab price!xo,nancyhttp://www.adoretoadorn.com
So true – everything at Urban Planet was priced low! Most clothes were $20 & under!
I'm loving all of your picks especially the Jacob jacket and necklace That jacket is amazing and what a steal! The colour of the stone on the necklace is stunning. By the way you have such a great blog! I'm new to blogging and it's so nice to find fellow Torontonian bloggers:)Marta xowww.sweatersstripesandsweets.com
Thanks Marta! Welcome to blogging – it's so nice finding other local bloggers 🙂
I've been seeing bucket bags trending as well and I can't wait to check out Old Navy's version. They're so different from the bags that I usually get. Also, that Rockstud dupe is pretty spot on, but the lower-end materials do show in the construction.BrittneyAnother Beautiful Thing
I'm not a huge fan of the bucket bag silhouette (it's more slouchy than my usual style) BUT they hold so much and are great when you need to be hands-free. And the Old Navy one looks really classic – if I didn't already own a bucket bag, I'd definitely get the tan one!
I *always* love virtual shopping with you. It's fun to see the pieces you choose to try on, whether you choose to buy them or not etc. It's probably a good thing we don't have several of these stores in the US, otherwise I'd want everything you show! :)GinaOn the Daily Express
Ha ha…I love virtual shopping on other people's blogs too…although it always results in adding things to my to-buy list – and we all know that my list is already too long!
Great finds Ella! You are such a savvy shopper! I love the jacket, it definitely reminds me of Chanel 🙂 I also love the orange MK wallet and necklace. I can't wait to shop in Vegas this weekend 🙂
I am so in love with the jacket…I had been looking so long to find one with the right fit and color combination…and the price was such a lucky fluke 😉 Can't wait to read about your Vegas trip – hope you have so much fun!
This was so fun! And I have that quilted Zara jacket! It's so perfectly fitted and the piping detail is great! I vote keep! 🙂 http://morepiecesofme.com
