I’m stretching out my summer as long as I possibly can – but soon it will be time to swap out my dresses and open-toed sandals for fall jackets and ankle boots!
To see which shoe and accessories trends will be big in Fall 2017, I headed to the Nine West store at Scarborough Town Centre this past weekend, and checked out their new arrivals.
There are 3 trends that will be popular this Fall – and the first is one that I’ve embraced in this outfit post: Military Luxe. Think studs, metal buttons, gold embellishments and olive or black fabrics when putting together your Military Luxe look. I paired a black cape blazer with FRONT booties and a gold-studded TAREN backpack. I finished off my look with over-sized metallic aviators.

If you’re looking for something more feminine – you’ll love the Modern Opulence trend – where rich fabrics such as jacquard and velvet are paired with jewel-toned colours for a Baroque look. And if your style is more minimal – the Clean Slate trend is for you! Clean Slate designs are contemporary – combining luxe materials with modern details – such as cylindrical mid-heels.
While visiting the store, I fell in love with these Modern Opulence-inspired bag and shoes. The brocade fabric and ruffle detail are just so beautiful! I can’t wait to style and share them in an upcoming outfit post!
