How to Style Adidas Sambas – Chic Outfit Ideas for Women

How to style Adidas Sambas for women chic outfit ideas

Adidas Samba sneakers have always been a classic sneaker style – but they’ve experienced an extra rise in popularity over the past 2 years, along with Adidas Gazelles. Almost every street style look these days is complimented by a pair of colourful striped Adidas sneakers. What I love about these shoes is that they’re sleek rather than chunky – so they’re a better match for my feminine style. In today’s post I’m sharing three ways I style Adidas Sambas:

BODYSUIT & TAILOURED TROUSERS:

This is such a classic and easy look – you could even wear it in a casual work environment! I paired a chic bodysuit with wide-leg tailored trousers, cinched with a turnlock belt. I finshed the look with my elegant Coach Tabby 26 bag.

LONGLINE VEST NEUTRAL LOOK:

My obsession with vests continues – and this season the trendiest vests are slighty longer and open at the bottom. Neutrals are forever chic so I added light trousers and a taupe bag to complete this look.

BOW BLOUSE & DENIM MIDI SKIRT LOOK:

I love the look of Adidas Sambas styled with dresses and skirts – there’s something so chic about the contrast between the casual sneakers and feminine outfits! In this look, I paired my sambas with a denim midi skirt and a coquette-style bow blouse. I also want to play around with my maxi dresses and satin skirts to see which combos work the best.

MY THOUGHTS ON SIZING and SAMBAS vs SAMBAES:

Adidas shoe sizing can be very confusing – as your size can vary depending on the style you pick. The sambas are a narrow style, so if you have wider feet, you may want to try them on in store and figure out what fits comfortably. I have narrow feet, and I actually ended up going down half a shoe size. I usually wear a women’s size 7.5, but I found that the size 7s fit me the best.

I also got to try on the Adidas Sambaes while I was in store – they are similar to the Samba OGs but have a thicker sole. I preferred the slimmer profile of the Sambas, but the Sambaes are a good choice if you want a bit more height (pic from my IG stories).

There were so many sneakers I was thinking about before deciding on these classic black sambas. I love the look of the burgundy and green styles I spotted – an am obsessed with the pink Puma Palermo sneakers too!
