As I was organizing my winter clothing rack, I realized that I had a LOT of chunky pom pom sweaters. Since I’ve developed such a love for them, I thought they deserved their own spotlight blog post! All of these sweaters are from Chicwish – and I’ll be sharing a quick review under each with my thoughts!

Let’s start with the “As Peppy As You Are Pom-Pom Turtleneck Sweater” in blush pink. This exact shade of pink is my absolute favourite – it has nude undertones and is very flattering. I also love the turtleneck collar – some collars can be droopy and floppy, but this has the perfect length and structure, and stays in place perfectly under your chin. On the minus side, the pom poms in this sweater are focused on the top half – which can make the sweater look a bit boxy. I tried to offset this by keeping the lower half of my outfit very streamlined and sleek.

White turtleneck sweaters are very classic! However, I prefer the turtleneck collar on the previous sweater, as this one didn’t sit properly on me. It was too long to wear straight up…but it also didn’t look right when I folded it in half, so I had to settle with tucking the top in a bit under my neck.

This heart pom pom design is from Chicwish’s “Knit Your Love” range – and includes turtlenecks (seen in the pic before this one), cardigans and pullovers. The cardigans are especially popular, as they can also double up as a light jacket for Spring or Fall. I own them in both pink AND white – and they look great layered over a tank top or a t-shirt.

The only downside is that the fit of the cardigan is quite over-sized while the arm length is on the shorter side. My pink cardigan is a size L, and my ivory cardigan is in size S/M. I messaged a lot of bloggers before ordering the smaller size – as I wanted to be sure that the sleeves wouldn’t be too cropped on me…and it worked out well for me (I’m 5’4 if that helps). But if you are taller/have longer arms, you may want to size up!
I hope this post is helpful if you’re thinking of ordering a pom pom sweater from Chicwish. Which one would you pick?
Need a sweater like this! Love it!
