When I started blogging, I used to keep all of my clothing purchases in their original bags, so that I could share clothing hauls as they happened. But my latest purchases are all over the place! Some have dedicated blog posts, while others have been shown on Instagram. I’ve also had some clothing hits and misses that I wanted to share – so I’ve rounded all my latest purchases in this post. I’d especially recommend scrolling down until the end for some luxe-for-less shoe finds!

Bomber jackets and moto jackets are very popular this season. I’ve yet to find a bomber jacket that suits me – but I’ve already stocked up on 2 moto jackets – the pink one above and its twin in black from this post. I prefer wearing my moto jackets open – so I always opt for a shrunken style with fitted shoulders.
MORE FROM ROMWE:

I’m loving this white peplum top from ROMWE – the material is a thick stretchy material (a cross between jersey and scuba) that holds its shape well. The crew collar makes it easy to pair with statement necklaces – like this one from Happiness Boutique.

This pink floral skirt is a forever favourite! But I’m not too sure about the top – the bow-tie sleeves looked really pretty in the stock image – but I found the satin material difficult to tie neatly – I think a chiffon fabric would have worked better.
|Shirt: c/o Sammydress / Jeans: H&M / Shoes: Bandolino|
This combination of blue pin-stripes with
embroidered flowers is quite popular – I’ve seen similar items in-store at ZARA
and H&M. This Sammydress shirt is really well-made – I like the
material and the stitching. Although you can wear it off-the-shoulder,
I prefer to pull the neckline up.

I chose this ZAFUL dress because of the pretty
embroidered rose-bud print. The material is quite thin, but it comes with a
white slip to wear underneath it. I plan on wearing it as a swimsuit
cover-up on our upcoming beach holiday.

We all know I love everything lace – and while I usually stick to white or cream, this yellow Forever 21 blouse is so bright and cheerful – it had to come home with me! (Photo taken at the Oshawa Centre Opening Event). P.S. this brown tote is from Old Navy and I love it for days when I have to carry a lot of things! I highly recommend it – it’s a classic.

Sadly, this Forever21 eyelash lace blouse was a major miss for me! Some Forever21 fabrics are marked “handwash only” – and I would recommend steering clear of them! Although I washed this on cold in delicates and hung it to dry – it shrunk after one wash…what a waste!
While the lace top was a miss…these studded rockstud-inspired flats are a huge hit! I love the blush suede material and all of the delicate details – and unlike my other F21 items, these are still available online here.

When it comes to shoes – I always choose comfort…and for some reason, Old Navy shoes really work with my foot shape. I spotted these classic nude heels in store – and I purchased them immediately. I wore them to last week’s Nordstrom Gala – and I was able to walk in them for 3 hours…without any blisters the next day! That’s a big deal in my books. I’ll keep stalking the Old Navy website for stylish heels. They don’t always stock them – but when they do – they’re definite keepers!
Have you had anything shrink in the wash after your first wear? What are your current clothing hits and misses?
