“You can’t even tell how cold it was” – that’s what Hubby said after I showed him the final results of these pics we took over the weekend! It’s difficult creating content during the colder months – outfit photos turn out so much better in natural light, but it’s hard to get motivated to shoot outside. What you can’t tell from this shot is that there was a handwarmer in my purse, and Hubby was holding on to my fluffy coat as he took these pics. Just keeping it real and sharing some of the behind-the-scenes of my posts!
I couldn’t wait for warmer weather to share this pink workwear outfit from Ann Taylor. It’s so pretty and feminine, yet appropriate for most work environments. The pants are a slightly cropped grey plaid – I love the colourful stripes and the fabric buckle belt. They pair well with a blouse, but would also look super cute with a turtleneck too!
I can’t decide which part of this outfit I will wear the most – this pink ruffled blouse or the pink bow pumps. They’re both SO me – the ruffled blouse would also look cute contrasted with distressed jeans. And these pink heels – they’re the perfect blush nude to work with most of my outfits – and they have a low heel and cushioned sole, so they’re very easy to walk in.
To finish off my look, I chose these freshwater pearl circle drop earrings – freshwater pearls are very on trend at the moment, and this circle style makes a statement but is also very timeless.
Would you wear this pink workwear outfit to work?
