With all the amazing 30-40% promos at GAP, Banana Republic & Old Navy, I’ve been doing a LOT of online ordering. Some of the items are DEFINITE keepers – others will be going back, but I thought I’d share their “fitting room review” photos anyway, in case anyone else was thinking of ordering them.

GAP 1969 Camo Front Zip Always Skinny Jeans / Minkoff bag / ZARA necklace |
These 1969 Camo Front Zip Always Skinny Jeans are definitely staying. I think GAP will be my new go-to source for denim…even on sale their jeans are pricey BUT their material is very thick and sucks me in – definitely worth paying up for!

Old Navy Sequined Sweatshirt / Old Navy Fox Graphic Sweater |
Old Navy has a lot of cute sweaters & sweatshirts this fall- their sequined sweatshirts are reminiscent of J.Crew’s beaded sweatshirts at a fraction of the cost! And I’ve been seeing their fox graphic sweater EVERYWHERE – it’s adorable! I’m trying to decide which of these 3 I should keep – right now I’m leaning towards the grey sweatshirt.

Red Floral Long-Sleeved Wrap Dress / Red Print Crepe Shift Dress / Pink Stripe Long-Sleeved Wrap Dress / Navy Blue Cap-Sleeved Wrap Dress. |
I ordered a variety of Old Navy dresses to try on. Pictured from left to right are the Red Floral Long-Sleeved Wrap Dress, Red Print Crepe Shift Dress, Pink Stripe Long-Sleeved Wrap Dress and Navy Blue Cap-Sleeved Wrap Dress. After trying them on, I only really like the long-sleeved wrap dresses – I’m definitely keeping the striped one – I think it would look great in the fall with black boots. I kind of wish I had ordered the Black Birds Wrap Dress too- it’s a timeless classic!

BR Flared Trench / GAP Classic Trench / BR Outlet Trench |
And finally a quick note about trench coats – I ordered the GAP classic trench to compare to the Banana Republic Flared Trench. Although they’re both XS, the BR trench seems slimmer and more fitted around the shoulder and chest. I prefer the color of the GAP trench but the BR one is made of higher quality material. The picture on the right is one I took at the BR outlet – this trench was less than $80 and it fit perfectly (I loved the design and the tortoise-shell buttons) – but the material was very wrinkle prone and the stitching wasn’t that great (it had loose threads). If I could design the perfect trench coat, it would have the design of the BR Factory coat, the color of the GAP one and the luxe fabric of the BR Flared trench…am I being too picky?
Help me decide – which sweater & dress should I keep?
LOVE THE LOOKS 🙂
Thanks!
Love the striped dress, no help with the sweaters, I think you should keep all 3!
Ha ha – I'm really struggling with my sweater decision – they're so cute, but I do have a lot of sweaters I picked up last season so I don't want to overwhelm my closet LOL!
Definitly keep the tan sweater in the middle! I also bought it in anticipation of fitting in it again soon, also like the stripped or polka dot dress the best.LindsayLindsayJEveryday.blogspot.com
Thanks – I like the middle sweater too because the sequin design is more noticeable 🙂
Those camo pants look so amazing on you! Definitely my favorite out of the bunch! I really like all of the ON sweaters. I tried one on the other day and for some reason didn't go for it, although I did get a tee that says "love" on it ;)I think you should keep on of the sparkly sweaters and the fox one. As for dresses, I really like the striped and polka dotted versions.
Thanks for the input Noelle! Your Love shirt sounds super-cute – and so appropriate for a newlywed 🙂
Everything looks so great on you. Such great fashion sense. I got the fox sweater (because of my fox obsession) and I get tons of complements, but it does seem to be a popular top this season.
Thanks Jill-O!!! The fox sweater is definitely a popular choice – have you seen the cream bird sweater version? It's also super-cute, and I'm kind of wanting it too LOL!
Look amazing with Camo Jeans, Sparkly Sweatshirts & Wrap Dresses. I love Sweatshirts and can't wait to get out of my maternity clothes and back into Sweatshirts dresses. about designer clothing
